Juventus are eyeing Brescia wing-back Marius Stankevicius.
The Lithuania international, 25, is seen as a replacement for want-away Mauro Camoranesi and Juve chief Alessio Secco will make a firm approach for the midfielder in January.

However, if Brescia indicate they're ready to sell, Juve will face competition from Lazio, Bayer Leverkusen and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Damn. I can't tell you how many Stankeviciuses I went to school with in my South Chicago 'hood.

Stankevicius, from what I saw from his time with Brescia, was a solid player. Surely a good back up for one of the spots on the wing or in central midfield (I believe he can play a bunch of different roles). Of course once we reach Serie A again I would hope we could manage a better player, however.

in lithuanian nt he plays as a left fulback. in brescia as far as i know he plays somewhere in midfield. Last year he was one of the best lithuanian player. he was voted the 2nd, but in my opinion he deserved the first. this year, when he played against scotland and italy, his performance was quite poor. and that's i think because of the beginning of the season (the same as for italians). i remember two seasons ago, when brescia played in seria a, stanke scored a spectacular goal and in some italian newspaper was called "a new nedved" .

i would like to see him wearing juve t-shirt

stankevicius is a right back. always was and always will be. whoever played him in midfield mustve done that because od neccesity
