The Fisherman and The Industrialist

An industrialist once came upon a fisherman napping under a tree.

The industrialist said to the fisherman, "Why are you napping under a tree?"

The fisherman said, "Because I've caught enough fish for the day."

Puzzled, the industrialist replied,"Why don't you catch more?"

Unworried and with his hat brimmed shade in his eyes the fisherman, without looking up replied, "Why would I do that?"

Slightly triggered and taken aback by the Fisherman's lack of ambition, the industrialist boasted forward, "So you can buy more nets, a bigger boat, go out into deeper waters, then buy a whole fleet of boats and be rich like me."

"Then what?" asked the fisherman, respectfully but disinterested.

"Well..." said the Industrialist, as he thought for a moment, "Well, then you can finally sit back and enjoy life!"

The fisherman laughed, "What do you think I'm doing right now?"

If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
