At this point in his career, lippi won't go to fiorentina.
I've just got a feeling if or when Lippi returns it will be with Fiorentina.. First, i think it is the perfect time for Lippi to go to a Fiorentina, they are a club on the move with ambitions (exactly what Lippi is looking for), further than that Lippi has said these factors of ambition and growth are essential NOT absolute success and a magnitude of trophies (barca), second he wont go overseas as it is too late in his career to learn another language and his main aspect of his coaching is motivation and by gaining respect of his players' through personal charisma and sincerity, this can't be done if he can't speak spanish or english and i have no doubt he's not keen on learning it at age 60.. Third point is that he's Tuscan and still lives there today and guess which major italian team just happens to be in Tuscany?? of yeah Fiorentina.. Fourth point, well it's really just a proccess of elimination

I believe all these points are very much indeed valid.. If i were a betting man i would put money on this

Prandelli probably wants to win something at Fiorentina though, and he is involved in a very exciting project, where he has a lot of freedom, and the club gives him say in the transfers which is reflected in the youngster policy, which wouldn't be possible at abigger club, where immediate success is the aim.

Your speaking on behalf of the coach's (prandelli) view and not the view of those people who run the club (it's president & board).. But yes i do agree with you and this is exactly the other side of my argument.. But hopefully Fiorentina are foolish enough to opt for a quicker success option in Lippi, which i dont even think will be much more successful.. Who knows maybe Fiorentina want to make a statement by getting Lippi and are going for that success you are talking about sooner than expected or maybe they just want to increase their profile which clubs are always looking to do..

I know theres a lot of maybe's and if's in there but i think its very muh possible Fiorentina would prefer Lippi over Prandelli, even if Prandelli is heavily involved within Fiorentina club dynamics

what on earth makes you guys think that prandelli will leave fiorentina and join us? He's having success with fiorentina, he's part of a long-term project involving youth players and slowly built good team-football, he's taking part in the managing for fiorentina (more than in any other 'big' team), they are playing their style and are successful, they played better football than us in the last games (it's undeniable), they have a good chance of finishing in front of us.

So i ask you; why should, first of all, leave that club, and secondly, why should he come to us. Don't get me wrong, i'd like to see him, but it's not gonna happen.
We can't just pick players and coaches like if we were the no 1 in the world and would decide over everything... moggy's gone people... face it

we can't call Lippi to come back every time our board hires the wrong person
I am not the type of guys who keeps asking Lippi's return every year, hell even members asking that was pissing me in past, but (a big one!), everything is different now, we came from a horrible league, and we need the right man to guide us to the place we deserve, we have tough board to deal with, and no one else than fans' favorite can have a say against these fuckers. Everyone reminding us Lippi's last year, what about the previous Lippi years? did we forget it that fast?? Lippi doesn't need to prove himself, he won everything a manager can possibly win, isn't that enough?

Roma have the more balanced and deep squad, but when everyone is fit I think our 5+- best players are better than Roma's best 5. But Roma's squad overall wins it for me.

There's a big difference in our team's though. Roma at least play as a team and have a tactic. We have no movement, no players moving into eachother's positions, no overlapping, no passing play from midfield, no dynamic upfront. Our team is just about individuals blocking attacks and then hoping that another individual can come up with some brilliant effort(mainly DP or Camoranesi). We came a long way with individual brilliance and heart, but it could bring us only so far. With our set-up and gameplay this slump was inevitable really.

Didn't say that he was a better fullback. But who has the better name? "I'll kick you in the Panucci" sounds so much better than "I'll kick you in the Cicinho."

I am afraid of that. But then I think if the Juve board are too chicken sh*t to lure Mourinho, who's to say that Berlusconi and his meddling hands would want to invite Mourinho's success-backed arrogance?
Ok that`s true. :D

But probably yes.Milan is in big trouble now and they should hire new coach pretty soon.
I think it`s either Lippi or Mourinho(higher chances).I wouldn`t like to see Mourinho there. It would be real pain to compete with them that way.

My prediction..
Mourinho to Milan
Ancelotti to Italian NT
Lippi to Fiorentina
Prandelli to Juve
Ranieri to Palermo

Everybody wins..
I think there isn`t any real reason for Viola to fire Prandelli nor he`d like to leave them and I don`t see Lippi as his possible replacement.

Mourinho to Milan
Ancelotti to Barca
Lippi to Italian NT
Donadoni to Juve

:pumpkin:

With our current retards on board this looks more realistic somehow.

I am dying to see Mourinho to fail with the next big club he manages, just to show everyone how overrated he is. Sure this claim doesn't help me much at the moment, as you will give me his career stats, but only time will tell, only time..

Donadoni????:scared:

I know if they appoint Donadoni, I will have to fly to Italy to kill all the board members and Donadoni, please no, I don't want to be a criminal, I still have a life to live, I am too young for that

even Raikard is a possible move for milan ...
about Ancelotti, i admire that man, Just to see with what mmumy palyers he achieve those great resultates in these 6 year ... i would love to see him again in juve but not ahead of Lippi, as for Prandelli i think that he wouldnt gett of from Fiora in these moments or in the short future.

Raineri is another story ... i dont think that we are gone be like Real Madrid to fire at the end of each season coach... but CR just prove him self that he is a coach of middel teams, he dosnt win anything at his carrier nd he wont will win anything in his future even with juve.. i think he will be here also in next season (nd he will be a decent accelerant to destory my nerves)
