Help me out here, for a second, because I'm about to plead ignorance, because I'm not that familiar with French Football. This season excluded, how would you compare Monaco and Parma in terms of prestige, success, and pressure.

The reason why I'm asking this is that its pretty much common knowledge that Serie A is a more prestigious league than the French League, and I'm wondering what kind of expectations and pressures Deschamps may have been under this year, in comparison to the scandal that Prandelli had to face. I saythis because Prandelli seems to be more suited to being ready to work under the bright lights, and more adept to work with younger players, if that is indeed the direction (hopefully) that juve is going in.

Thoughts??
Deschamps has been under a lot of pressure after finishing 16th in his first season in charge. There was immense pressure for him to throw in the towel and walk away, but he got all the players to rally behind him, and they're extremely loyal and devoted to his cause.

Both Deschamps and Prandelli have proven that they can get the best out of their players, including the youngsters. That's one thing I'll be looking forward to a lot, giving our young starlets a run and building them up for the future. The 'Old Guard' routine is getting a bit tiring

Deschamps has done exceptionally well this season, but right now I think I'd like to see Prandelli get the job ahead of him. Deschamps doesn't have as much experience as Prandelli, and hasn't had to go through what Prandelli did, with Parma's financial situation, the pressures of Serie A et al. I definitely hope that Didier makes a return to Turin in the future, but not right now.

Exactly what I say Graham and Stuart. I hope Prandelli gets the job because as you said he can get the best out of his youngsters. And I have a feeling that we will have a lot of youngsters come summer time. So I hope he can turn Maresca into a great player for Juve and for Italy.

Speaking about youngsters, to answer your question Graham "how old is Becchi"................. I am 18 mate!

Agree man. I think Prandelli will make Maresca 10 times better. Lippi had some problems with Maresca, don't know why, but something seemed to be wrong. Maresca could become a great player!

We never did make much good use of our youngsters (please don't mention Del Piero). Players that so many people expect a lot from just don't get a chance and it's kind of sad. Ruben Oliveira anyone? Hopefully Maresca will bloom and keep maturing to be one of our leaders for many years to come
