Linkin Park is almost like emo infused with metal and hip hop, and I am not particularly fond of it. What ticks me off is that they win Best Rock Group and such at music award shows. I believe the bands in the underground scene produce much better music. ROCK MUSIC. NONE OF THIS PACKAGED SHIT THEY FEED YOU THROUGH MTV. This is all my opinion, please don't be offended. I'm sorry if I did offend you, please forgive me.

I have been an LP fan since the first time I heard their song "One Step Closer" a few years ago. I was one of the "first" LP fans since that was the first time that an LP song was played on the radio.

And believe me, "One Step Closer" and some other songs on Hybrid Theory was deserving of an award. That is considered rock music, no doubt about it. They produced better songs than any other band that year, and thats why they one. So don't talk shit about them not being qualified for awards.

I think that Linkin Park should be nominated for metal awards, not rock. And while in the metal category, they would get their asses kicked by Tool (a much better band) everytime.

lets get real here. LP are not a bad band. i have listened to their music and it is much much much better than boy bands and britneys and such... and thats where it ends. they not close to bands in the magnitude of GnRs.
