Paris Saint-Germain's hopes of becoming the first side to complete a Ligue 1 season unbeaten came crashing down at the Parc des Princes on Friday, when Nice handed them their first defeat of the league campaign, winning 3-1.

Being invincible is so incredibly hard to do.

Yup. All the pieces need to fall into place.
For example, PSG faced Nice yesterday. With just 3-4 rounds left in the French season, PSG have long secured the title, Nice are desperately fighting for that 4th place, and on Tuesday PSG are playing the CL semifinal in London.
It was terrible timing and the worst possible opponent for PSG. Had they already been eliminated from the CL, or if they were only facing teams with nothing to play for until the end of the season, they might have finished the season in Ligue1 unbeaten.
