I can't belieave that we're going in to the final with out nedved........ It shatered my heart and I'm sure all of you too. I've been stressed out in who we will use in place of Pavel!?? Camora plays well, but very different to pavel. I'm just really disgusted in the yellow card given to nedved:down:. The reff(maier i think it was:() didn't have too pull a card out, he was conveinced by macmanaman:fero:(who pavel fouled), who told him to book nedved.......... just disgracefull.

Yeah, maybe ....

But is i was on maier places,,,i surely showed the card to neddy. That fault was so stupid.

But looking at the human side,,this is a murder!. Maybe nedved will not have this opportunity again in his life.

The rumours are that camo will be in his position,, or something similar. Of course he is not nedved, but lippi must be thinking on somwthing.

I mean the yellow card was unfortunate
    true.....

But it was Nedveds blunder not the refs....

Its crazy to foul so cynically while almost in the centre of the circle.
Never the less it gave the victory a bittersweet taste.
    (Like a Fellini Movie)
Which in my opinion is more enriching and real then the old good not bad victories....

I mean victory hardly ever comes without sacrfifice so here we are.

Lets just hope his replacement Camonaresi or Di Vaio will rise to the occasion........

Sutnop, I was sitting around pondering an escape to the final in Manchester, and after your post, you may well have swayed my decision. Save me a seat?

As ever, your post was timely, interesting, and full of passion and verve so desperately missing sometimes. Thank you for it, and for the bizarre insults as well. I may not support their sentiment, but hell, it's you. :) As a result, I understand and embrace them. All I know of Manchester is what Morrissey sings. It ain't a pretty picture the Pope of Mope sets, but hey, he's got issues. :D
    tank you
    fianlly someone who understands me

ALtough I know you don't share my view about Manchester and UK (who I know from before you find quite nice)

    Its a view I have...
Just as I thought Braveheart is a movie about how uncivilzed savages, Attack Civilization.....
but hey thats my viewpoint and you can ask me to retreat on it.
    :frown:

As far as Denco goes I am sorry but I don't see how I supporter can be undervaluing the team so extremeley all the time....
(I mean as supporters we tend to greatley overestimate the ability of a team)

    But come on Terrible Midfield!?
What Team has a better one!?
THIS is the greatest part of Juventus field IMO....

As far as Birindelli please he is top10 full backs now.
Maybe you :groan: can't see his qualities.

But His first 5m Acceleration is amongst the 5th best in the world.
only to be beaten by R Carlos, Ljungbergh, Overmars, Martins...

If this is his only performance then what about Barca both Legs. Depor game first game this one of the greatest goals for Juve this season it lifted the whole team!!!
(And I was so happy because some many people have given this guy so much shit  including myself and he finnaly came back showing us all what a quality player he is :super: he is probably the squads most underated player)

As far as Tacchi I have heard complaints about him too
but he is ITaly's best Central Midfielder currently.

Tudor remember who clumpsy and the blunders he use to make a few seasons ago

Now with Lippi he is flawless.....

Even the players who have been disappointing me the most this
    Season Zalayeta and Zambrotta.
Have Exceeded my expectations Zambrotta in this game
    And Zalayeta in Barcelona.
Altough this guy doesn't have neither speed or skill
but his heart and strength is remarkable....
    He never gives up
and when you play again Zalayeta it hurts  ask De Boer....

The guy will sacrfice his body like few strikers for Juve taking all kinds of beating but mostly giving out a beating. And his goal against Zalayeta was the ultimate proof that he loves Juve, and the ultimate victory over the Juve fans that had been booing him just some weeks ago in BOlogna.

Lippi makes every player rise to the occasion!

Wow Sutnop great to hear! If i could come I would but Im not gonna give excuses...im planning to move and I got school ;)

But I have to agree with your analysis of players zalayeta in particular. Ancelotti's nickname was pig- at Juventus certainly, not sure about Milan.

And a lot of people think of London as a dreadful place to live maybe you were being crude but as long as its an opinion and you dont try and call it a fact then i dont mind.....

Anyway getting back to the topic I think Lippi has done a phenomenal job. If anyone remembers my tune a couple years back I wanted Lotti to stay because I felt consistency and faith in the management/coaching was necessary however Moggi and co didnt think so.

Midway thru last season I decided it was time to place my hat in my mouth and chew once and for all.

Lippi was the right choice for Juve and Juve was the right choice for Lippi.
