According to transfermarkt, this guy started 9/10 games in Serie A where he was available and 4/4 games in EL, apart from this one game the rest he missed through injury and doing his personal absence stuff at the start of season. Good luck convincing Atalanta, who're currently 7th in Serie A and in EL knockouts, surely they'll just hand over one of their starters.

He won't come in winter, there is no point. Max spends half a year to integrate a new player after summer mercato. He surely won't play a new player in a crucial period of later spring.

Juventus try again for Spinazzola | Football Italia

Juventus could once again try to bring Atalanta full-back Leonardo Spinazzola to Turin early, by looking to do a deal in January.

The defender is on a two-year loan with the Orobici, but Juve wanted to bring him back last summer.

Despite the player’s protestations, Atalanta refused to do a deal and Spinazzola remained in Bergamo.

He will return to Turin in the summer, but Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the Bianconeri could once again look to a do a deal for January.

It’s possible Alex Sandro will leave in the summer, while Kwadwo Asamoah’s contract is expiring, so Juventus are taking no chances at left-back.

Spinazzola to go under the knife? | Football Italia

Atalanta full-back Leonardo Spinazzola may require surgery on a knee injury, according to reports.

The Italian international, who is expected to return to Juventus in the summer, has been out since March with a sprained knee.

Now Gianluca Di Marzio’s website is reporting that he may have torn his meniscus, a diagnosis which will be confirmed by knee specialist Pier Paolo Mariani at the Villa Stuart clinic tomorrow.

Spinazzola will be seen by the surgeon in the morning, and if the worst is confirmed he’ll go under the knife on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning.

They said it will compromise his pre season, so I'd say he will be back for the regular season but fitness will be an issue
