Esposito, Daud, Immobile, Marrone, Spinazzola, De Silvestro, Untersee, Schiavone, Beltrame, Lanini, Rugani, Romagna, Mattiello, Audero, Clemenza, Donis, Zappa, Lirola, Muratore, Cassata, Vitale, Kastanos, Favilli, Kean.
What a mixed bag, but still a lot of top tier or top tier potential players there.

and around that time we had left backs like traoré or molinaro, so i was desperately longing for a new talent for that position.nice list btw
i'm pretty disappointed with the way rossi's, marrone's and daud's careers went. especially marrone had a lot more potential than to be a sub for a belgian club. i hope at least rugani and kean can go all along the marchisio way and become local heroes. too bad kean looks like a dumb little pogba wannabe.
I have two and a half questions rooted in the following;
Q1: Is he good enough to be a backup LB? Consider that Sandro gets injured and is out for three months (and assume we do not have Asamoah around). Can we lean on Spinazzola then, or do the backup LB need to be closer on par with Sandro (as Evra was)?
Q2: He seems very versatile. Giaccherini and Padoin were versatile too, and always gave it all, although they obviously were not starting material they were useful through versatility. Is Spinazzola in terms of versatility potentially as useful as above two?
Q2.5: If he is not as versatile or good as the likes of Padoin or Giaccherini, would he be worth hanging around? If you find it hard to compare, try comparing with e.g. Pessotto or Birindelli.

Spinazzola is more than useful for us. You can compare him more with Alex Sandro than with Evra or Asabob. It's more a dynamic player with a beautiful technique. Call him Alex Sandro 'light'. Defensively and physical not as good as AS, but better technique and same style of play. As back-up I would say he is good to have.
A2:
He is versatile, can play on the left and right without problems. I don't think he can play in the center of the field, but that is not necessary with the players we have. He is offcourse more talented than Giacc and Padoin but less consistent than Padoin.
A2.5:

Question from my side, how is he vs Kolasinac?
Yeah was a wing forward in Primavera. But he has matured enough he is trusted as wingback, and seems alright taking care of business further back then he was used to. Maybe just needs further schooling but I wouldn't be suprised if tried him out as fullback either, tho perhaps he isn't in the level to say no to Kolosinac for.
