Bonucci to 'La Tripletta' :

"I’ve seen a struggling Juve, Thiago needs to understand that he is in a completely different world. The project needs time; if you want to win immediately, hire Conte... But saying that you are 'sad' and 'sorry' is not okay: you made a fool of yourself!"

Bonucci’s words after Juventus-Atalanta

THE DEFEAT AGAINST ATALANTA – "It broke my heart, to be honest. I saw a team struggling, apart from the first few minutes. It was clear that it wasn’t going to be the game we all wanted to see. It was tough to watch—I was with my kids, who were devastated. Today is a hard day for us Juventus fans […]. Conceding a goal from a penalty disrupted the game plan; before that, at least, they were holding on. In matches like these, you need to understand the moments—enthusiasm and the desire to bounce back can make you open up too much, but a team like Atalanta will punish you. Both the coach and the players need to learn from games like this: Juve must improve in every aspect."

WHAT’S MISSING – "Right now, there’s a lack of incisiveness. Thiago’s style of play is enjoyable, but in certain games, they really struggle to create chances, and yesterday was one of those games. The players lack experience and personality; they need to grow. Thiago Motta must understand that coaching Juve is a completely different world. He needs to identify what needs improvement to put all his knowledge—proven at Bologna—to good use. When he took over from Sinisa (Mihajlović, editor's note), he struggled just as much, if not more. But Bologna plays for certain objectives, while Juve plays to win."

THE PROJECT – "As a Juventus fan, I’m not happy with the results, but the project needs time. If you want to win immediately, you bring in Conte, build up assets, and you’re good. Any other coach needs time to align everything, even at the club level. The Motta project is inconsistent right now, but I believe Juventus should give him at least another year to build a group, a team, and a solid foundation at the club level to set the stage for winning. At Juventus, there’s no time, that’s true, but either you change everything in June and bring in Conte, or you give Thiago and Giuntoli the time to build on this year’s foundation, improving with new players. The three coaches before Thiago only won one trophy and built nothing, so it wouldn’t be fair to put all the responsibility on him. Let’s give him time—if in the end, he proves unfit for Juventus, we’ll acknowledge it. Right now, he’s under fire; he needs to step up in terms of management and communication. Last night, saying ‘we’re sad’ and ‘we’re disappointed’ is not enough... You need to be angry because we made a fool of ourselves!"

THE POSITIVES – "Right now, Juventus players are struggling more in this environment, especially if they lack strong personalities. They need more time. I believe Thiago has enabled Juventus to dominate games in terms of play, which doesn’t necessarily mean winning, but with the growth of two or three players signed this year and the addition of two or three more, the team has the potential to be back at the top… The foundation is there to take a step forward next season. Yildiz barely played last year—today, if you sell him for €80-90 million, you’ve built an asset. The same goes for Mbangula and Thuram... Di Gregorio is doing well. It’s not all bad. If this is a three-year project, time is needed. I understand the Juventus fans—I’m the first to get frustrated—but I have faith that next season, with Thiago, can be a positive one."

Not sure what Bonucci is smoking but these are the 3 coaches before Thiago:
Sarri - won our last Scudetto
Pirlo - Won Coppa and Supercoppa
Allegri - Won Coppa and got fired the next day
