Mark Iuliano: "Bonucci has perhaps had his best season, because I can assure you that it is not easy when you lose points of reference such as Chiellini and Barzagli. And if De Ligt 'held', it is thanks to Bonucci. I expected more from Rugani this year."

Not at fault on the goal, but tell us again in the press conference how the motivation and grinta are going to be a deciding factor in this game. All talk. I will celebrate the day this guy is no longer a starter and he will fight his way out of the club. Disgrace of a captain.

Bonucci: 'Juve did all we could'
by Football Italia

Leonardo Bonucci insists Juventus ‘proved our fitness levels’ by pinning Lyon back, but lost this Champions League tie in the first leg.
Cristiano Ronaldo converted a penalty and scored a stunner, cancelling out the debatable Memphis Depay spot-kick, for a 2-1 Bianconeri victory on the night.
Due to the 1-0 away defeat, Juve went out of the competition on away goals at the Round of 16 stage.

“There’s disappointment, obviously,” the captain told Sky Sport Italia.
“We knew Lyon would sit waiting for us with 10 men behind the ball, crammed back into their own half. We created many chances, but in football you can create chances without bringing home the objective.
“It’s a pity. We should’ve done a lot better in the first half in France, when we created very little and gave Lyon the chance to score a goal. These ties are decided over 120 minutes.
“Unfortunately, it’s a matter of centimetres that makes the difference at this level, whether the ball is in or out.
“We proved that our fitness levels were good, we pushed for 95 minutes, created four or five clear scoring opportunities and Lyon had I think one shot on goal. They qualified, congratulations to them.”
Considering they are out of the Champions League at the Round of 16 stage, lost the Coppa Italia and Italian Supercup Final, has this been a disappointing season for Juventus?

“It has been an anomalous season, we found ourselves playing in July and August to decide the tournaments. We achieved the Scudetto, but knew with this format that anything could happen in the Champions League.
“We did all we could.”

 :howler:

Pathetic Peasant. Just like your coach, you're full of excuses, a little Muppet and a spineless coward.

Please strip this returning traitor of the captaincy. A Juventus captain needs balls, and I'm afraid this fraud left his in Milan.

Now, there's a real captain, an honorable man who understands the words integrity, responsibility, and accountability. This guy is the worst Juve captain in... well probably ever.

i believe that he cant do any better than that.
The ones who decided to make him our captain and spokesman must be believing the same too. This is what Juve is now...
Hopefully one day soon this will change, but a new path should be carved...
