Makes perfect sense. We need a strong Serie A to increase our income. We sell Bonucci to Milan to make them more competitive. It turns out that they can't get any more loans to pay for him, so we lend them the money. Perfectly reasonable explanation.

On the bright side, when Milan can't pay their bills in 1 or 2 years we can turn Milan into a feeder club.

Yes, what B81 said. What news have you, man? :D
No specific news, just thinking over all the strange Milan deal. It stinks from a million miles away. The Chinese invests in an Italian football team twice his assets; why? He loans the money from sharks like Elliot who want the money back at 7,75% interest in one year. Italian banks back off Milan, nobody wants to release guarantees against their latest purchase and who saves their arses? Agnelli family bank. Yeah, makes sense.

The Agnelli bank? What do you mean?

Banca IFIS backed up Milan purchase of Bonucci with a surety. No other Italian bank was prepared to do it because Milan have already tied up all their assets with Elliot to guarantee the loan.
Banca IFIS majority shareholder is Agnelli's cousin. And he has technically loaned 40 millions to Milan without guarantees. Why?

As usual, people seeing what they want to see.

The whole Agneli connection with IFIS is more a coincidence than part of some intricate pattern or plan. The founder of IFIS happens to be Gianni Agneli's nephew but creating IFIS was his way to go on his own, separate path.
IFIS has a rich history of doing business with Italian teams, so it's involvement with Milan is anything but a surprise.

But if you guys wanna believe that Milan will soon be Juve's feeder club, maybe it's already happened - Juve dumped on Milan their unwanted garbage in Bonucci, while you guys poached a world-class youngster in De Sciglio.

See how easy it was - Milan is Juve's feeder club :baus:

Shut up, cunt! You are becoming obnoxious with your not subtle cheap shots with the intention to provoke us. This is not Milan forum and we will not praise your shady dealings. Go support your Lehman Brothers like club and worship Hakan Chalhanouglushiiiiiit.

I was only semi-serious but I'm glad to see that you are worried. I really do see it as a realistic possibility that Elliot will control the club in a couple of years. The only chance the Chinese have paying back the debt is to refinance.

According to La Repubblica, Leonardo Bonucci immediately laid down the rules to the Milan locker room on ‘professional behaviour.’

The former Juventus defender has been tipped to take the armband in his debut season and is already acting as a captain.

The newspaper claims Bonucci complained that the locker room atmosphere was “too chaotic and this makes it difficult to concentrate. It is not professional behaviour.”

He also arrived with a list of specific instructions on fitness training, medical treatment and hired his own dietician.
