Bullshit. It was all Abate who didn't track Jordi Alba because there were Barzagli and Bonucci ahead. You let a player run at you like that, it's impossible to pick up with pace over short distance, the only chance for the defender is to stop the pass. Also Xavi wasn't closed down at all, closest midfielder was De Rossi.

bonucci had a great tournament overall. much better than chillini anyway Today was a bad day for the whole team. Just didnt have the energy to keep pressure on spain, and than is just hopeless to achive anything against them. We didnt look as helpless as france did, even with just 10 men.
