That was the other CB. Bonucci felt a little unsafe at the back, every time he touched the ball. I'm really undecided about him.

There were a few moments in he game where I though this guys a great centre back in the making. Like how he kept his feet on the ground with the man city surge and adebayor had the ball. Nicely composed and hopefully he will continue to improve.

No,but he may have looked like that because he was overshadowed by some WC defenders were playing with him.

Who would you blame though? De Ceglie for not tracking Johnson, or Chiellini for not being aware of Johnson running in behind him?

True. I wanted to mention De Ceglie and playing Johnson onside, but i wasn't sure of it.

Agreed about the midfield duo not applying enough pressure on Toure.

chiellini at his 23 was immediatelly transformed from a DL to a CB and was voted the best CBpair along with Legro in 07/08 season in serie a.
