I agree we need a CB badly but considering marotta's selling ability i dont want bonucci to go for peanuts. Also with a bit of competition and bench time he just might wake up. Its not like he is clueless and talentless like marchisio or motta. Selling him would be a stupid over reaction and unlikely to happen. I can count 8 players who dont deserve to play for juve who should bve gone before bonucci.
You need help, Woody! Come here I'll comfort you. Not in a gay way.

Sorensen played one game at CB.

How can you say he did better than Bonucci?
IMO they both had better seasons than Bonucci, i m not saying that Melo and Sorensen played as CBs, i m just saying that they have served with their respective roles, better than Bonucci did and if we look to improve our team, we should rather look into improving our weaklings first, before we fine tune the fine details.

Because Cronios is the king of hyperbole and bullshit.
how such a filth is tolerated to keep spamming the forums with mockery and flame bait?
He has been provocative for several months, are we breeding new Jacks, Sevens here?
They're both old.

Cronios didn't say that Sorenson and Melo did better at center back. Looks like Bianconero_aus is reading what he wants to read. They had better seasons than Bonucci. People are hardly kicking up a fuss about them leaving despite having great seasons, not to mention we got ripped off thanks to Marotta's incompetence selling/loaning players.

Anyway I think Bonucci should stay with us one more season with Lugano's guidance. I wouldn't really mind if he left for 12M though. Its about time Marotta started valuing his players.
Thank Nenna, always with a balanced and objective/logical approach!
No, I'm not reading what I want to read, I'm just giving my opinion of seeing Cronios' relentless, nonstop negative posts.
get a life then and ignore me, dont you have anything better to do, than replying in such posts?
Cronios warned us that we paid 22 Million for this player but no one listened.
well, didnt we?? Marotta's deals keep losing us millions upon million and you seem ok with that?
If we were to buy a LB we needed that much on Criscito, wouldnt we need more money than that?
History has proven that we have lost many millions from such deals, you dont have to go far, just check the disastrous deal with Melo this year...
15.5mil+2-3 players halves should be justified with much better performances than the ones Bonucci has shown, do you deny that???
He should be sold and Barzagli should be our bench player.

Mediocre player.
the way Cassano got past him there... but again Marotta is unable to sell anyone for a decent price and we have invested way to much on these players.
The more we sell them off, the more we suffer imo, maybe a proper manager will come next year and sell them for decent prices, hopefully after a half decent season.

This is what I read off of Wikipedia

On the same day that Italy were eliminated from the World Cup, Bari bought the remaining half of Bonucci's registration rights from Genoa for €8M.[15] Co-currently, Bari signed Sergio Bernardo Almirón in co-ownership deal for €2.5M,[16] who already went on loan for the 2009–10 season from Juventus and Genoa bought the remaining 50% rights of Domenico Criscito from Juve for €6M on the next day.[17] Bonucci then went to Turin for a medical,[18] and the 3-way swap was completed on 1 July, which Bonucci cost Juve €15.5M (but in cash plus player deals) and he signed a 5-year deal.[

Cronios, I thought the 15.5 million was inclusive of the player deals?
what do you mean?
we paid that sum and they paid us the sum of the reduced price for the half of the players they have bought from us.
We lost the players anyway, the loss lies on the reduced fee we got from them, (considering their transfer market value) plus the 15.5 mil we gave.
So its roughly a 20+mil loss.

Ok, we really need to figure in the Euro exchange rate over the last year or so to get the exact amount.

Don't go getting lazy.
