Handball WAS NOT a penalty, and the rugby tackle was a good old fashioned "take one for the team" yellow card. If you played football, you'd have done the same in his situation.

Agreed, the problem is that his usual game isn't good enough. He doesn't know how to close down players, he's atrocious on 1 vs 1 and often does stupid mistakes which cost us goals.
