That's not up to him TBH, Conte/Carrera encourage him to play long balls. Tonight the majority of them were accurate, the problem is when he has those brain farts from time to time when he fucks up the simplest passes that go straight to opposition players.

THIS!

Can't wait for Chiellini to return to that Bonucci can go back to his rightful position in the defence.

BTW, some people here are stupid. One mistake, his overall performance is "disgusting". You people should be bombed to death!
To be sincere, he looked clumsy and way out of it. His passes were always long balls. He was always overconfident, his movement was slow and weird.

He has his good moments but oveerall he kept me the whole game eating mi nails. Was definitely no as composed as barzagli and marone.

After that raping in the euros and the calciocomesse, he seems like returning to his old self.

He can have a top performance. Very nice interceptions and good tackles, but he makes some lame mistake and these are very hard to forgive. I think he loses concentration or something. He is very good defender, he just loses it when you least need that.

I don't think he was poor yesterday. To me he seemed decent, even though he normally does his shit at least once a game. But he looked solid 99% of time. And he played like a RB a few times.

But what I love best was to see that Marrone is our first option when we need to replace one of the CBs. And we also have Caceres and even Licht to play in the right side. Hopefully Lucio will only play in home games at the first 2 phases of Coppa Italia. :)

That boy, Leo needs to stop messing around and start delivering, we really need him to step up, at least until the other options return from their injuries...

Yep, Conte's strategy is that the attack can start from all departments and that's the reason for the long passes. And he showed us that he can deliver on target in the past but yesterday he was off, maybe because it was not his position. Aside this one stupid pass that started the Parma counterattack he made a good game.

At the moment he's just not a really good choice as a right centre back. That position exposes more of his vulnerability on 1-on-1 defense and narrows his long ball targets.

Made one great tackle today
dam, i missed that, heard that he had a so and so match, but tackle from Bonucci means a lot to me, it means that he is becoming a real defender!
Finally! Hopefully this season or the next one will reach the level i expect him to reach, we invested so much on him...

The less you watch matches the better.
