What knee-jerking? It's 100% his fault Pandev scored.
50% + 50% of masterpiece by Pandev

and you guys picked on cronios. all along he was preaching the truth, letting us no we should open our eyes. and what do? we crucified the man. shunned him. drived him back into the abyss.

i demand an apology from everyone to the man
i hope he will burn in the darkest place of hell

It is knee jerking, especially when claiming that he's always been an average player. I wish our average players played like him. And stop stating that people are trying to make him great.
He was. He was average in Bari and was rather average since he came to Juve. Last season he made tons of mistakes but it seems people have short term memory.

He's not bad and like you said he's not great either, which makes him an average player, not to say mediocre.

He's a great defender and he showed a lot of good things today. I forgive him because of the wet surface but mostly because I like him :D

He commited mistakes, but the defense relied heavily on him. I dont remember seeing Barzagli or Lucio tackling anyone, while Bonucci was way more active and did it a lot of times.

I think that when playing with guys who back him up he can do OK. But he can't be the defense commander, that's the problem. Lucio improved after HT in terms of composure, but he is the biggest liability here. Really can't be trusted, too fucking slow.

Actually ideally Juve would need a commanding CB of world class to play alongside Chiellini and Barzagli. Maybe next year.

Let's bury this guy again after a bad game, one day after a difficult case against him ends.

Bonucci will always be a scapegoat for someone, because they just don't like him.

I also lost count on how many encounters he won on 1 against 1 today.
    This.

He DID make a couple of horrible mistakes, but he also did very well on several other occasions. This is actually why he can be so frustrating.

But forza Leo, god damn it.

The vital error to the goal is not what bothers me the most, it happens (wet surface made it worse), what bothers me the most is that they mark Pirlo and he plays straight into their trap by thinking he is some ace quarterback, and keeps making this long balls or passes that kept going to Napoli players almost every single time. Dont know where he gets this confidence, I know its part of his task as a ball playing defender to look for opportunities at times, but should explore other options then giving away the ball so frequently in same way repeatedly.

It wasn't a smart plan at all, but our movement off the ball wasn't great neither, which made his long balls more useless. Our defenders looked glad enough to let him dictate the play whenever Pirlo was marked too, which suggests it was a tactical plan.

    Good point.

I do beliave Conte made Marrone play at CB these past friendly matches so that he can use him when teams who park the bus mark Pirlo. Marrone's passing will give us more options so that we can crack those tough defences.

Thats my main complaint of him. His long balls are extremely annoying, 1 in every 100 pay off.

Yeah he fucked up for the goal, but those mistakes can happen to the best of defenders (esp given the conditions) He made a couple of very nice tackles/blocks on Cavani and Pandev.

I remember the same thing happening last season. If I'm not wrong Conte came out and said that he specifically asks Bonucci to play that way. Probably Conte thinks he'll get better at it.
