Not really. It wouldn't have mattered at all to me if she were still succesful. She makes music for 12 year olds. I don't see why adults should care.
I'm not talking about being succesful. I mean being succesful/famous/rich but miserable. Don't you think that everyone who's not a fan finds it somewhat satisfactory if a famous/rich person has a certain amound of misery in his/her life?

    lyrics like "gimme more" are targeted at 12 year old!! I know what ur saying and I know it's sadly true.

    either u don't know what the lyrics mean or ur couldn't care less that young girl's are singing songs about being promiscuous. Would you let ur 12 year old daughter 2 sing "Gimme me more" which translates to "F*ck me more". Call me old fashioned but I wouldn't. Britney Spears is no way shape or form a good role model to young girls.

    Children deal with way more explicit sexual connotations than that in their daily life.
