Street sweeper 'rubbished' odds

A HARROW street sweeper won more than £50,000 after putting just £5 on an accumulator bet.

Roland Kolaveri, 27, collected £50,535 from William Hill in Kentish Town after betting on Friday for 14 football teams to win.

Rupert Adams, a spokesman for the bookmakers', said: "This guy has rubbished the odds and has really taken us to the cleaners."

The football teams Mr Kolaveri bet on are: Chesterfield, Mk Dons, Schalke, Stuttgart, AC Milan, Juventus, Ajax, Crystal Palace, Coventry, Sheff Wed, Stockport, Hull, Peterborough and Hereford.

It's either pure brilliance or pure luck.
Just luck.
I wonder how he could win a bet on Ajax, that match was cancelled.
If the game is postponed and if it isn't played the day after, or it is canceled, then the coefficient for that game is counted as 1.0. Meaning as if you didn't even play the game, all other coefficients are multiplied as normal.

Perhaps it's treated differently in other countries, but that's how they do it here. But one things for sure, if a game isn't played your ticket is still good.

I'm just assuming since he has a picture of a Villa player, his user title is Juve_Villan and his signature is written in claret and blue

Oh ya i know they're rivals, but i never thought Rhizoid was a Villa fan :confused2
I like both. Been a Juve fan for more than a decade...but Villa "casually" since Benito Carbone's days (my avatar), suddenly I realised myself watching them more often.

And I lost the bet.
