Funny thing is this is not I told you so's worthy even, this was so insanely predictable its a joke ANY of us expected anything else. He is the same player he has been a for years, just a beyond mediocre little pussycat who just a passenger.
Only outright fan of his in this forum seemed to have been @Nzoric, but I have no idea what he watched of him to like him, he has been a dissapointment more or less his whole career, outside his debute with Empoli, and being decent for argentina in copa america.

I always give players the benefit of the doubt when they sign, especially as he was a very good Serie A player back in the day, but it's been clear early on that this guy is only here for (and taking us for) the ride. Football is full of so many players like this and I'm concerned that we've become one of the clubs who still have a big reputation but attract and sign these kind of players who want to go through the motions. Our recruitment has to be so much better, hungry players from the outside to compliment ones we develop.
