Probably overpaid. Could be decent or could be plagued by injuries. This deal could turn out to be a huge liability (aren't we trying to get rid of deadwood?).

Too much risk and very little upside for my taste.

Feel pessimistic about this transfer all you want, but just as there is a level of risk being taken let's not pretend that there's not a big potential upside.

He basically PSG deadwood and we help them remove his wage 7m burden as bench player. In the end they need to remove him if they signed Ruiz. And we will get lower option to buy without obligation clause
