Nina, don't get me wrong. I really do like the songs you gave me to download but it was not the ones I was looking for at the moment.

Every Monday on a local radio station is latin day and they play latin alot and also say the names of the songs but i never get to understand what they say :D

Merengue, Salsa, what else is there and can you differentiate one from the other?

This is kind of hard to explain Kiran ... if I hear a track I now right away if it's a salsa or a merengue track.

Salsa: Celia Cruz (La Vida Es Un Carnaval, Oye Como Va), Marc Anthony (Hasta Que Vuelvas Conmigo), Jerry Rivera (Vuela Muy Alto), Gilberto Santa Rossa (La Agarro Bajando)

Merengue: Elvis Crespo (Bandida etc.), La Makina, Los Ilegales, DLG (Juliana, Eres Mi Vida, Volveras etc.), Fulanito (Callate - if you haven't downloaded the track yet you have to do it,it's great)

Then you also have Bachata: Aventura - Eso No Es Amor; try it, it's more slow;

Please try to remember the name of the artist or semething or e-mail the station or something if it's from your place, so we'll know what you are looking for :undecide:

there are not too many latin groups or singers i'm able to listen here in romania ... i used to like natalia oreiro, her first album seemed really great to me
she filmed the clip for como te olvido in romania and i like that melody too ... but then ... she started to change style ...
i like rafaga a little ... luna y tu is my favourite ...
from shakira i like the classical objection
i like carlos baute
and some songd as el talisman, my medicina, la tumbadora ...
not too good at those, huh :p

Okay, I need another favour. This time I need to know the name of a song.

But the only clue I can give is that it contains

"Beep beep.........(aha)............bang bang"

Please help me cause I love that song.

Buenos Dias!

What albums would you latin experts recommend to an ignorant beginner (yes, that would be me :D)?

I'm looking for some happy summer tunes, salsa stuff and similar things!
