City do.

United haven't been mentioned in any FFP news yet but the've already brought in

Roughly... and in POUNDS not Euros

Shaw 30M

Herrera 28M

Rojo (Some complications but fee is there) 12M

Blind 14M

Di Maria just under 60M

And they've sold...

Evra 1.5M

and a bunch of scrubs for less than 10M combined.

Falcao according to the United twitter rumours costs just under 60M euros so...

That's worryingly close to 200M. Which should not be allowed.

Puts it in to perspective really

Other elite clubs, even missing 60M worth of CL money for a season or more, can go in to panic mode and spend nearly 1/4 billion euros

We penny pinch over 3 year installments for the likes of Vucinic, Iturbe, Shaqiri etc.

Rojo is 16 million pound, and with Chica and Welbeck leaving , they will go for another attacker in this case Falcao.

They can go and kill themselves, already spent about half a billion pounds. I know they're a huge brand but how can any club spend like 150M euros in one Summer. Or more actually.
Madrid does this pretty much every summer...

There should be a cap to transfer worth allowed each summer to stop ridiculousness like what is going on at United, Barca, Madrid, City, PSG. 120 mil max on transfers in the summer window, 80 mil in the winter window. It would stop ridiculous inflation of player prices, and stop certain teams from being able to buy up every talented player available on the market.

Have you actually seen what kind of revenue Man U generates. They are spending what they earn , and their earning is massive.

Juventus I am not sure if we are actually making 60% of what Man U is making. That's why we penny pinch.

Van persie might need knee surgery, could be out for months Man Utd are in for falcao.

@sarisbello is a journalist from colombia who is followed by falcao on twitter and apparently a good friend of his, she says :

ManUnited bought @Falcao for 65M Euros, he will be playing for 4 seasons, will be made official in the next few hours and travels has been agreed for morning and afternoon medical.

https://twitter.com/sarisbello

City can't sign him because of FFP so it seems Man Utd out bid them

I'm not saying we should or even could do this

I'm saying we as fans are talking about competing with these teams, when they can literally outbid us for 4 world class players in a row one after the other, and have enough left over to buy some 15M rotation players.

And yeah Madrid are terrible for it, however they typically make one ridiculous signing and a few big ones. This United season, if they get Falcao will surely smash all records.

so it's definitely #FalcaOFF?
Because our owners won't invest in us, we have literally 1/10th of Uniteds budget so if they want him, it's off.

Football needs spending and wage caps tbh, can't create a remotely balanced environment if a team is allowed to spend 200-250M euros in one Summer, despite finishing mid-table.
