If things continue going well and we look like promoting, i'm firmly against buying a midfielder who will want a starting position come January.
agreed. -- lets wait it out til january cuz by then if we have generated enuff buzz then maybe some other world-class midfielders will be interested in our club.

Hm I think I'd prefer Juve to buy someone with more experience. Maybe Diarra would be a good signing in a couple years, but not now.

Diarra in Chelsea quit hint

Lassana Diarra has dropped a hint that he might look to leave Chelsea during January's transfer window.

The midfielder joined the Premiership champions in 2005 from Le Havre and is being groomed to replace Claude Makelele in the holding role under Jose Mourinho.

Juventus are known admirers of the 21-year-old, who was Chelsea's Young Player of the Year in his first season at the club.

After making only four appearances, the France Under-21 international appears to be growing a little frustrated with a lack of first team action.

"I'll see how things are in January," he told The Sun.

"If I have to leave, I won't have lost anything."
