Embarrassing, my home town and Uni, recognize few in that clip too.

And Andy, they went specifically for that one would think. Though it takes 1 idiot to make the others react like that.

    Some people...

It's sad. I can understand that they would be offended if they are religious, but still there's no reason to show up if your sole purpose is to attack the artist.

I can understand why they would be offended aswell, they still have no fucking right to not be offended. Its fucking pathetic and im sick of it, its childish and fundamentally goes against western democratic values. I know i will sound right wing but if you move into a country then you adhere to their rules and laws, If those laws include the freedom of speech then you have no right to complain about what is said in that country.

If this were happening in iran then it would be a different matter, just as stupid, but slightly more legitimate.

This culture of fear due to the preservation of a basic human right is absolutely fucking ridiculous.

Um, come again? They HAVE the right to complain, its the same freedom of speech you are talking about. They can demonstrate, rally against something they dont like or offends them, even if its the most silly thing ever( I mean in general, not just this topic). What crosses the line is reacting violently to it.

Religious people ought to grow up and act on what they preach. Instead of fighting for their saviors "honor" they ought to emulate them. Then people will take them seriously.

In other words do what Muhammed would do.

because the intention was to offend 1.5 billion ppl

this wasnt an atheist disproving islam. Had it been Charles D disproving islam, with logical arguments then fair enough. But he drew the pictures looking to intentionally insult muslims. Thats the point, he was looking to offend ppl, and use those pictures to do so

Thats like me walking with a shirt written "I hate (insert race)" and then after getting jumped. Claiming: "well it wasnt my fault"

freedom of speech to disprove islam = fine and it should occur

deliberate insults to offend ppl = no no
