So because he was crap at the WC that erases everything he's done for Chelsea in the EPL and CL??

Tiago wasnt anything special in the WC either..

And what i really find odd,is before Tiago joined Juve, most of you didnt want him...I remember me and Andy and a few other members were the only ones defending him..Now all of a sudden he's this great midfielder..:lazy:
before you start speaking shit look at what i've said. About Tiago i said: I haven't seen him much, but when i saw him in the champions league he impressed me.
And i watch most of the epl matches, most of Lampard's goals are deflected in, or from penalties, yes every now and again he has some nice long range shots but still not often enough.
Also Lampard chokes on big occasions if you haven't noticed: WC, CL

but he does that in the epl and england now, its his habbit to get the ball and just smack it from where he is, many england fans will tell u the same, i have this same convo with many england fans and they all say how sick they are of him beeing greedy with the ball and going it alone, that is why gerrard is the better player

i said i didnt mind tiago but he was my 2nd choice to lucho who was cheaper and better

He didnt choke in the CL...He's been instrumental in Chelsea getting to the semi's twice in the last 3 years...While Tiago has always been second best to Juninho in Lyon's midfield.

so its safe to say, that we shouldnt take your opinion seriously on him??

If i were a Chelsea supporter,i wouldnt mind how he scored his goals as long as he scores 15+ goals per season.Goals win you football matches and it doesnt matter how he scores them as long as he does.

Lampard rejects new Chelsea deal

Lampard has been linked with a move from Stamford Bridge
Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has turned down the offer of a new contract, BBC Sport understands.
It follows News of the World claims the Blues were willing to make him the top earner at Stamford Bridge.

The newspaper says the deal would have eclipsed the £121,000 a week given to Andriy Shevchenko and Michael Ballack.

England midfielder Lampard, 29, has two years left on his current contract and said last week he was content to see out that period of time at the club.

"They don't have to offer me anything so I'll just carry on," he stated.

However, Lampard added last month that he would have liked the club to have offered any such new deal in early June.

"In an ideal world, it would have happened three weeks ago but it is not an ideal world," said the Blues star.

"It feels strange. It is something I am trying to keep my mind off. You get on with it. I am not surprised by it because nothing surprises you in football."

Under Fifa rules, Lampard can buy out the remainder of his contract but it was reported in February that he was unlikely to take that course of action.

The £15m-rated player has been linked to Barcelona and Juventus, who are now managed by former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri.

Lampard enjoyed his most prolific season in front of goal for the Blues in the 2006-2007 campaign, scoring 21 times.

Lampard leans towards Juve
Sunday 1 July, 2007
Frank Lampard has reportedly rejected a new contract offer at Chelsea, fuelling claims he will join Claudio Ranieri at Juventus.

The media in England suggests that the wages proposed would be higher than the £121,000 per week given to Andriy Shevchenko and Michael Ballack.

However, the delay in making the offer has reportedly angered Lampard, who under FIFA rules could buy himself out of his two-year contract.

The midfielder had already been heavily linked with a summer move to Juventus and these reports will prompt negotiations to intensify.

Coach Ranieri has named Lampard as one of the prime objectives for his new-look Bianconeri, who return to the top flight after a year in Serie B.

"In an ideal world, it would have happened three weeks ago but it is not an ideal world," said the England international.

"It feels strange. It is something I am trying to keep my mind off. You get on with it. I am not surprised by it, because nothing surprises you in football."

seems as though this news is everywhere...

Lamps snubs new deal

Frank Lampard could be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit door after reportedly turning down a massive new contract offer at Chelsea.

According to the News of the World, the England midfielder has rejected a multi-million pound deal, which eclipsed the £121,000-a-week contracts given to Andriy Shevchenko and Michael Ballack and would have made him the highest earner in the club's history.

Contract negotiations between Lampard and Chelsea have been drawn out and this latest twist could see Italian giants Juventus and Spanish side Barcelona make a move for the 28-year-old.

Juve boss Claudio Ranieri has a good relationship with Lampard following his spell as Chelsea manager and would love to take him to Turin this summer.

Lampard has also been constantly linked with Barcelona and it is thought his wife favours a move to Cataluyna.

Earlier this week, Lampard admitted he was frustrated by negotiations with Chelsea, who are reportedly stunned by his wage demands.

He said: "I have two years left on my contract at Chelsea, that's the way it is. They have no necessity to come and offer me anything so I just carry on and get on with it as you have to as a player.

"In an ideal world I would have done it (signed a new deal) three weeks ago. But it is not an ideal world is it?"
