I prefer Diego to Lampard. Do you remember any English player who succed in Calcio? Especially in Juventus?
Paul Ince did reasonably well, the fans and Morratti loved him.

Gazza did well also, apart from when he was injured.

The English players dont tend to travel as there is always high deman for them in England. Its reasonably rare for English players to leave, in comparison to most other nations.

Most of us are probably too young but I remember The gentle giant, he was English. He was one of the greatest not only litteraly. Don't know his name. I just remember him because he died this year.
My point is that Lampard wouldn't be the first.
Oh Les Charles is that right, it just came to me.

I just remember him dying recently. Neven seen him play but he must have been awesome. He scored like a million goals for Juve back in the day. He was really tall and never got a red card that's why they called him 'the gentle giant'.I'm no fosile if that's what you mean?

Charles, Rush still waiting on the first Brasilian star to have worn the Juve shirt and don't give me Emmerson , Athirson or other flops.

Back in the early 90's we had a defender I beleived called julio ceaser who did quite well for us. let me see if i can find some info on him.

Here is some infor on him, he wasn't a superstar but very solid when he played for us and he was also capped by the brazlian national team.
