Well I personally don't consider Vidal, Pirlo or Zidane club legends, so Asamoah seems kinda odd

Padoin or Zaza are the definition of (future) cult heros though

Zaza has good chances to become a cult hero tho, total animal. But needs longevity for it. Kinda like how Di Livio was bit of a cult hero for a while.

I don't think cult heroes are solely defined by being warriors or huge characters. Padoin maybe isn't one but by being so plain and average it's something very tongue-in-cheek to paint him as one.
