------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

According to the Italian press, Juve would be interested in signing Kompany.
The defender would have to cost around 10MEuro but HSV probably won't let him go in the January transfer window.
Juve also has other options, among them Ivanovic.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bring him on, 10MEuro for such a talent, if we can keep him injury free, would be a great signing.

He sure has great potential. Not sure if he'll ever reach it though.
That's my concern. I've heard a lot of potential this, potential that, years have gone by and he's still in the same place as before. I'd rather bring someone proven and experieced. Not to mention his price tag is a little steep.

I think I'd pass on him at this point in time.

He is showing his potential at Hamburg and for the NT but he is injured to much, if he plays, he plays very well, but he is just injured to much, if that stops, he is one of the best CB's for the next 10 years.
I'd take him if he wants to join and if he would be allowed to join.

Too risky, he's injury prone and it seems the buzz around him has died down, it must be for a reason.
Is he as good as FM made him out to be?

Difficult to say since he hasn't been able to play much for HSV yet.
If he could play from now until the end of December without injuries, we would know more.
The matches he played for Belgium this season were good and when fiot, he has been starting every match for HSV so I guess they are pleased with his performances.

He's not called the man of glass for nothing. Vincent is very injury prone, so I don't see him as a good cover for Andrade.

Besides, he's still young and makes these typical young defender mistakes, just like Criscito/Boumsong do, so I don't see him as a Criscito cover either.

He's still a very good player though, and I'd like to see him playing for us one day, but right now we want a proven solid defender in the back.

does the samo job, kommesar for bench morale :D

And bout Kompany....I watched some games while he was at Anderlecht, usually on right flank and he reasonable impressed me...strong fast and not so dumb.

I'd say wait a year and then buy him...
    poor Balza

btw , Kompany isn't far away from Criscito , but sure he has a stronger Physical but , i wouldn't gambling on him since we all know , he's injury prone , better splash our Money to someone healthy :D

And Van Den Borre really kicking asses in my FM game , don't know in the reality , I ever heard in this Forum , someone said that he's not that good , I do agree but lets wait and if he good , we can buy him from Fio to replace Mr.Biri for sure .

Kompany never played on the right flank, you mean Vanden Borre.
Kompany was used as CB or MC never as a right flank player.
