I really think we need both to compensate for the loss of Vidal-Pirlo-Pogba.
This summer the clubs priority should be the midfield position. We need to get rid of Sturaro, Asamoah & Khedira. These three are of no use to the club.
Attack - We're good in this department for now, as long as we dont sell any of them. We have already added Orsolini for the attack/wing, which remains to be seen if he will join the team or go on loan. And then there is the Berardi option, which also remains to be seen if he accept Juve afterall.
Central defece - Signing of Caldara for 2018, already signals that the management does not want to change anything in this position, and Marotta recently mentioned that he will most likely buy Bentia permenantly. I'm not big fan of Benatia and hope the club goes for different option.
Left Back - Having Sandro, the club seems content to get the schalke dude for free to replace Evra, which I think is a good decision.
Right Back - Lict is definitly leaving end of season. The only other position the club needs to invest other the midfield is this postion. Lict has been crap all season, and Alves is in decline. We really need the eqiuvelant of Sandro on the right side of the pitch, and the club must spend to get such a player. Free players wont do for this position. There is the Lirola option, but he's been loaned to Sass for two seasons so not sure he'll be back before then.
So two quality midfielders and one qualtiy right back and we're good to go. At least for next season.
