Isn't it a possibility that it's the other way around? That Ranieri is turning down the players we are linked with because he wants others. Sissoko is a clear example.
That could be true in the Huntelaar case, but in the VDV case the board has made its interest in him clear.Ranieri is the one who is apparently against the transfer.
Juve’s president has tightened the purse strings and told manage Claudio Ranieri that no new players will arrive in January.

"Juventus will not make any acquisitions in the January transfer market," said Giovanni Cobolli Gigli.

This is the case for most of the team, the coach is the easiest victim at these cases...

It looked almost certain that the Turin giants would strike a loan deal for the Mali international this month, yet the Serie A giants have revealed there will be no additions to their squad during the winter transfer window.

"Juventus will not make any acquisitions in the January market," said president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli. "It's normal to dream of big players but in order for dreams to come true, we need to wait for the right moment to come along."

Sissoko has fallen out of favour at Anfield this season under Rafael Benitez, and reports in Italy now claim Inter Milan may be willing to take him on loan with the view to a permanent transfer at the end of the campaign.

SELL THE FUCKIN' TEAM!!!

We have a fax machine employee as GM and a clown as President.

now we're losing Huntelaar to Real and van der Vaart to Valencia + we could buy useless Sissoko according to Ernesto Bronzetti(agent close to Real).

Really i cant understand!! Huntelaar and van der vaart aren't good for us, but to real madrid and valencia, which have good teams, they are amazings players!! If we dont bought anybody now in the summer market it will be even worse, because big teams with capital will attack and we will have no chances to buy anybody!!

So you feel the players Secco has brought in were the best available for the money we had?
the ideas were correct, but the players they signed were definitely not up to expectations...i still believe that Andrade will be a good signing for us...Iaquinta and Nocerino are doing fairly well too....the rest have just been awful

Bronzetti could be talking BS too...I recall him saying Ronaldihno was a done deal to Milan...now he says it's Chelsea...he also said last year Chivu to Real and he went to Inter...
