I think not, i always thought the coach's role in transfers is more marginalized, than most of the ppl in this forum believe, thats why have a transfer manager and a high council. Every coach has a list he wants to put forward but he must keep the balances with the wills of the owners and investitors.
Sometimes we may lack the funds or the necessary influence to make a transfer.
Some coaches are not allowed to know everything that goes on within the teams managerial status and decisions. And some coaches are not calculated in the long plan of the management. I think this is the case in our club and probably the reason DD left. CR tries to keep the balances and he may had an agreement with the club that he wont ask for any more transfers and money in the winter,
thats why he is now forced to protect the image of our club keeping the right balances with the management and blindfully trust our current material.
This is a risk/sacrifice some coaches need to make, to keep their position...
