I understand your concern.maybe he is old in arsenal's standard but he is not born yet in milan's standard.
No its not that, i dont see his age as an issue..my issue here is that he's being pictured in these forums as some kind of promising youngster..

PS: This isnt directed at you Cutajar.

Klaas Jan Huntelaar has been linked with switches to Italy of late, and the Ajax striker has revealed that Edgar Davids' glowing recommendation of Juventus has left him intrigued.

The Dutch international told the Corriere dello Sport, "Even in Holland, [Juve] are known as the 'Old Lady', and thanks to all the trophies that they've own, they are a very attractive club. Edgar Davids has told me about this.

"What did he say? Very positive things about both Juventus and Italian football in general. It's a fun and exciting style there."

Davids cut his footballing teeth in the famous Ajax side of the mid-1990s before moving first to AC Milan and then Juve, and while Huntelaar seems interested in the prospect of following in the midfielder's footsteps, he's not yet had the chance.

When asked about potential interest from not just Juve and Fiorentina but also Inter and AC Milan, the 24-year-old replied, "I like Italy, and it's flattering to be rated by such clubs, but I've not yet had any contact.

"I've heard nothing from Juve, but they're a club with great tradition that anyone would love to play for.

"Am I the new [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic? No. Ibra is Ibra, and I am myself. Every player is different and comparisons aren't easy."

You are right about the age thing these guys aren't getting any younger. But the fact still remains, we want to compete at the highest level and the chance looks like it's going to present itself next season [the CL], then I see no reason why we shouldn't bring in names that we feel can make a difference. We are not buying a new squad, just additions to improve, replace and acquire what we have and what we seem to be missing. I prefer VDV over Diego. Dutch players have a good fighting spirit and most of the time they're calm and collected until the very end of their careers, Brazilians on the other hand have a way of completely messing up when the star lights are on them-recently Adriano, Ronaldinho. I forsee these guys doing exceptionally well at Juve, lets give them a chance. Our budding youngsters will learn alot from them. VDV, Giovinco and Huntelaar for me, then they can bring in any good CB and LB. With these in the squad, I think we can talk about lifting the CL next season. What do you guys think.

look who cares about age. as long as they perform were good. and we cant have a whole team of youngsters. we need some mature players to show the younger ones how to do it.

seriously if we don't sign Huntelaar I'll go nuts. If by luck we sign Benzema, even Gomez and let's say Amauri too then I might go back to a normal mental state even if that was possible before. :D

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOd news guys.

I have met Huntalaar in their game in Dubai and my friend interviewed him.

We asked him if he wants to come to join VDV at Juve and he said he would love to cuz he loves to play with VDV and he dreams about joining Juve.

We had our pic taken with him.

I hope our managemnet won't screw this up.
