Some members saying man faqtd is top class team and Juventus not
you cant compare our current squad with others.

our matches with them

we lost in 99,3-2 was ancelotti's great succes same as 2005 cl final.

our whole team were sick(flu or something)and we lost in 2003.

They have a lot of money but We have a lot things in our museum
atm utd are a top class team, while with our current squad we aren't, but we will be. We might have lost cause of sickness or being complacent, but we still lost, any loss is a loss, whether 1-0 or 10-0

Richest team in the world.. Their budget exceeds that of any club(with the exception of Chelsea nowadays and Real Madrid). With that in mind they are huge underachievers, especially in Europe.

Yet they have almost never relied on that budget, richest but also the cheapest, they produce quality young players from their own academy. They have never behaved like Chelsea or Real in respect to their budget.

What about making Ferdinand the most expensive defender? After they had already made Stam the most expensive one a couple of years before. A brittish record for bringing Veron. 30 million euro's for Van Nistelrooy. Or paying up to 40 million euroes(or something like it) for Rooney. 20-30 million for Carrick..

Those are all players that were bought in like the last 8,9 years and yet each of them was bought in a separate season. They buy wisely IMO, Chelsea and Real spend ludicrously each and every year. They are completelly different when it comes to transfers/budgets, they spend in 3 seasons as much as Real or Chelsea spends in one.

I wrote down Chelsea and Madrid as the exceptions for a reason, and yet you continue to compare Man U with them ...
You're the one who brought their budget up, no?.

And you think Hunter is more intrested in our museum than ManU money??? C'mon get real... you can't rely on our trophys now :disagree:

They only buy if others leave, Carrick was bought when Keane/Butt/Djemba somehting and others left or weren't good enough.
Ferdinand was bought when Stam left, Ronaldo was bought to replace Beckham, Rooney to replace Cole/Yorke/Solskjaer and so on.
They spent ther money wise and this season proved that.

Yes, if you compare it to any team, with the exception of Madrid and Chelsea, they have the most money and should be doing better. Clubs with (much) less finances do better than Man U does.
They have money but they don't rely on it, or at least Ferguson doesn't want to so their finances don't play a big part in their achievemetns since they probably use like 15% of them for transfers.

Winning EPL, ending in the semi finals of CL and playing the final of the English cup, I agree, they are doing awfull.

They have ended in top 3 in one of the 3 hardest leagues of Europe for years now, almost every year, they have reached at least the second round of CL so I don't know why you say they have been doing bad.
