Juve-Huntelaar, Barcelona target Dutch striker

04.05.2007, 14:56

Barcelona are on the lookout for a striker. The Spanish champions are looking for an alternative to Samuel Eto’o. Tehcnical director Beguiristain and manager Rijkaard essentially have three names in mind: Zaragoza’s Diego Milito, Diego Forlan (Villareal) and Ajax striker Huntelaar.

And their interest in the Dutch striker could give Juventus problems, who have for a long time been interested in the player. This because Ajax would love to sign Thiago Motta from Barca, as manager Ten Cate is a big fan and might agree to sell Huntelaar if Motta became part of the deal.

Great, how long are we planning on waiting for this deal to happen? More and more teams are getting tied to this guy every day. :(

Arsenal were told that they couldn't get him because they already had an agreement with Juve...why should things be different with Barca? Unless we get Deco and Eto'o in return we'll get confirmation of the Hunter at best when we mathematically reach Serie A or when we sell Trez. :(

Anyways, I would try not to bother myself anymore. Lots of things will be more clearer when we arithmetically achieve promotion. Therefore, we've to wait a couple of weeks, hopefully.
