Look, we couldn't even afford keeping everyone around even if they lowered their salaries. Buffon, ADP and the rest deserve the pedestal they received from staying. They are legends for good reason. But I won't crank down too much on those who left, especially the younger ones like Zlatan. If it helps you sleep, Thuram's career went downhill after he left IMO.
