Then we have to keep Rabiot. We need quality in the middle and whatever anybody thinks, Rabiot is a quality player but I want to see him with quality players in midfield if he sucks then sell him.

I have some hope. Especially if Rabiot leaves, Thuram would not cost us alot, especially if the rumours about 15-18 million is right (doubt it).

25 million euros seems more realistic (could even be more but let's say 25 million euros. 5 year contract salary of 3 million a year (6 before tax even less with the tax relief for players from outside italy)

Thuram would cost us 11 million euros/season that's cheaper then Rabiot.

Koopmeiners I believe will have a more offensive role, even if we don't play 4-2-3-1 every game I can see us going for Koopmeiners because he would be our Lewis Ferguson.

For me Thuram, Douglas Luiz would not rule out Koopmeiners.

Also we will sell alot more, Soule? Hujisen? Kean, Mckennie?, Chiesa? So I think it's realistic to go for all of them.

Especially if Rabiot leaves, Thuram would be cheaper then Rabiot.

i think they want Koop too. Schira, Romano, Pedulla have been consistent about him being the priority. They need 6 mids so even if they didnt they would need to add someone else. Thuram and Luiz isnt enough.

I think we could very well have Koop, Thuram and Luiz. No Rabiot alone more than covers Thuram on yearly cost including wages & amortizations. Koopmeiners will likely be funded through selling Soule` and/or Huijsen - more likely a trade with Atalanta for the latter.

Who knows? I think it’s unlikely we’ll get all 3 of Luiz/Thuram/Koop, but maybe we are mainly focusing on the CM area and trying to dedicate most of our funds/budget there? I’d happily forego getting Calafiori or another young CB if we finally upgrade our midfield. Koop is leaving Atalanta for sure and apparently he wants us, hopefully they’ll take Huijsen (who will never play a minute for us again) and 30M or whatever and be done with it

true. But still we need to replace Sandro and Kostic and MDS who are leaving too. I think we will try for Calafiori tho or get cheaper alternative but we need CB/LB and RB
