This kid would absolutely flourish in a Dybala SS type position or even as CAM. I just feel like we’re wasting him as a winger/wingback.
Wasting is a strong word.

But I agree with your sentiment. He doesn't really have the pure speed or trickery of a winger either. He's a very technical player, but I think he's indeed similar to Dybala. He's probably a bit stronger though where Dybala is even more of an artist.

What is the great history of the city? ahaha take the microphone away from the child:moan:

I hate the influx of oil money as much as anyone, but Man City were founded in 1880. They definitely have history.

To me, our current side is made for a 352 rather than a 4231.

- 3 man defense would play more in the strength of Gatti/Savona as a limited defender on the ball, bring out the best in Kalulu who is pretty good at passing and potentially a better Danilo
- Cambiaso in a free roaming role as a wing back works pretty well with Italy as well
- Koop playing less of a striker as a #10 and more as a dynamic CM that makes runs in the box
- Yildiz removed from the wing and played as a SS

MDG
Savona/Gatti - Kalulu - Danilo
Locatelli - Thuram
Koop/Douglas
Weah/McKennie ------------- Cambiaso
Vlahovic - Yildiz/Nico G

On paper that looks very good, weren't it for leaving out our best attacking threat.

Nah.

4-3-3 is the most obvious formation. But we need to reinforce our wings and striker position immediately. Obviously we are signing a CB in Jan so that’s all sorted.

Koop /Loca/Thuram midfield is fucking obvious

Started poorly but grew into the game.

Really good pass for Vlahovic's goal. He also seemed like the only one willing to play riskier passes in the first half, which we need sometimes.

He’s very good at going at defenders and cutting in and shooting, so I get the reasoning for him playing out wide, but CAM puts him on the ball more. Maybe this becomes a permanent change.

Great pass to Vlahovic. What we're missing because that big baby seems better when he receives like that then with an open goal

centrally, he is stuggling with the crowd imo, was suprised few times by the man behind him. This is something he could probably improve still, but i see him more as than LW who cuts inside or goes for cross. Playing this type of football centrally would require WC skills and really good acumen.

Couldnt agree more, I feel this too, this is Cagliari type of pressing we are talking about. He still need to improve and he probably can, as he need to think at least 3 steps ahead all of the players who pressed him, if he can find the way to launch killer pass, the more people press him the better, because it means more players are free to be pass

In his current condition, the first thing come to his mind is to trap the ball and try to beat the defender and find a space to shoot, this is why Motta insist to play him on the wing

Like I said before, if he can improve superbly in his pass in final third and know when to pass, when to turn and when to shoot he will be a world class AMC

And doing all of this with ease and elegance, that is the ADP level, when he feint, the opponent can just fall down or trippin by himself lol

    I totally agree with above.
I hope it's lack of experience and his youth that's causing those problems. This type of matches are perfect opportunities for him to be played centrally and gain some knowledge and experience.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Juventus consider a January move for Sandro Tonali and could sell Nicolò Fagioli and Kenan Yildiz to match Newcastle’s €55m asking price.

    Nice try Corriere
