Should strike up a deal to sign him for free next season. Lazio are 100% surely gonna play him even if he refuses a contract offer due to his talent and the fact that they are in Europe. We only need him next summer once Mandzukic most likely moves on.

Will he be signed as a forward og winger? I know he can play both, but what is his best position? Winger right?

Are We seriously going in to this season with only Higuain as striker? I Mandzukic can play there to, but still!

My god i hope higuain is willing to sacrifice a burger or two, or else We ar doomed!

Keita can play a central role up front. He's really versatile. He can play anywhere in attack, and play it well (well minus Dybalas position, not sure about that one)

Top scorer for Juve in the league, top scorer for Juve in CL. First season at the club.

Clearly irrelevant.

If that's the only way you judge players, I'm sorry that you have such a limited understanding of football. Must be frustrating for you.

Higuain is a small game player. But he does score a lot of goals against weak opponents, that's why I said he's kinda irrelevant, not completely irrelevant. His performances in important games against strong or even semi-strong opposition have been catastrophic. And we are not talking about a small sample size here. That's almost all his games for Real Madrid, Napoli and Argentina. In the CL with us he scored 2 goals in the KO stages in 7 matches, both against Monaco when he fucked up 2 more goals (the problem with all strikers is that even if they miss 10 chances, as soon as they score 1 goal people have a brain freeze and forget that). He was poor in all the other games.

Juventus won the league 5 times in a row without having a prolific goalscorer in the league. It's all about style of play. Real Madrid have a certain style that guarantees that even if you put my granny as CF, she's bound to score some goals in the league. Morata scored 15 as a sub last season and he's never scored more than 8 before that. Same thing with Napoli, though they're obviously not as good. They sold Higuain and Mertens scored 30. Before that they had Cavani.

Did we really buy Higuain to score against Pescara and Crotone? We don't need him for that. Did we buy him to weaken Napoli? If we did then it didn't work, because they scored more goals and won more points without him. Why? Because he's easily replaceable.

We sold Pogba for a record fee and we should have used that money to boost our chances in the CL. Instead we blew it on a fat, 29-year-old proven choker, who's only gonna get slower, fatter and his value is going to plummet in the next 24 months.

I mean, can anyone really say with a straight face that Higuain was essential in our CL run? We could have played Quags in his place with the same success.

Pogba may have been overpriced, but he's still a good player and 5 years from now he'll be in his prime, worth a lot of money and Higuain will be a retired couch potato.

This is the new standard of Tuz now, you just have to avoid certain topics for your braincells sake.

There are legitly people here who convinced themselves Mandzukic is better then Higauin for us, straight up hatoration up in here.

Generally the rule of thumb should be that if you have absolutely nothing to contribute to a discussion, you shouldn't post. I gave many reasons why I think Higuain was a bad purchase. You obviously have nothing to add, so why post?

Because you repeatedly post the same nonsense of how the guy who scored MANY goals for us, been a consistent match winner, and scored more goals then a striker done for us in decades, has been a bad signing. You REPEATEDLY post this, and I will continue to mock this dumbass notion whenever I feel like. As it would be with anyone else who massively underrate his performances for us.

There is one thing to demand more (and the price was crazy), defenitely want more, but another to call him a bad or even worse, irrelevant signing is just dumb, it really is beyond dumb. State whatever reasons you like, it will remain so because his contribution speaks for itself.

NOTHING of this is what an irrelevant player would do.

If anything this guy has LEGIT reasons to demand more from Juve, because we play so conservative so often that he doesnt get enough chances created for him. We are often in save energy mode (Sacchi said it best, Juve will be a much better team if we dont only play for 15-20 mins a game and rest be playing with caution/foot off the pedal) or play with predictable approach that barely opens up lanes for him. He can score more, and we can do ALOT more to help him do that, alot more, many games where he scored with the only half chances he gotten. But question is does he care aslong as we win? Clearly why he came here.

Nicely stated. With the new additions hopefully he gets more chances, clearly he knows how to finish. Maybe he has disappeared in his share of big matches, but the fat man's total stats speak for themselves.

Plus the way players under contract can move from team to team so easily, I like his attitude lots, just win. Juve gets that CL title in next year or two and he can gain 50 pounds and sit out his contract on the bench and I'll be satisfied.
