Like I said before, if they knew they were selling Dybala they would've targeted different players in the mercato. Verratti isn't coming. Kroos isn't coming. Dybala isn't going.

Btw I love how conveniently people ignore Dybalas positional fit in Barca. He's not a winger. He plays pretty much in the same space that is occupied by Messi and Suarez. Barca will get a winger. Dybala isn't one.

Barcelona isn't even as good as Juve. What's the motivation for Dybala? To play in Messi's shadow the rest of his career? Don't give me that "he's a Barca fan" $#@!, this isn't make a wish, this is a professionals career. Barca doesn't have Juves structure up top.

Not even mentioning the fan fallout from such a sale. There would be a full on riot in Turin and there isn't a player on the market to make up for it. Forget Verratti or Kroos. If they were available don't you think Juve or another club would've bought them by now? The world doesn't revolve around juventus' mercato.
Messi can be compared to Dybala, yes. Before Suarez arrived, Messi played central but upon Suarez' arrival he was pushed out wide. And played equally incredible. Dybala would undoubtably perform in a similar evolution. People go nuts if you consider Dybala to play a RW in a 433 formation, but that's exactly what happened in Barca. Neymar on the LW is playing wider then Messi, but still. It's a flat 433 with a false 9 i Suarez.

What could be interesting is if we sold Higuain instead, and played Dybala as the false 9 flanked by D. Costa, Bernardeschi, Keita etc.

Now before anyone go crazy "we're not Barca and we've got out own style". The 433 is winning the CL these days. Our own style would still apply even if we played this formation as well. Not that I dislike our 4231 though. We just need a rare piece of the puzzle, adding a true world class CDM and that's hard it would seem.

Why you're such a pessimist man :D
IT MAKES SENSE! :D Hahah. Sorry bro, I'm just killed inside after so many sales. And sadly I know this one is gonna happen too, sooner or later. But believe me, I'd feel like total shit if it happens. It's not like I would point a finger and laugh.

But it does make sense if you think Dybala is gone, Berna goes to AMC and Keita on the wing. Or rotate.

If we get to sign Keita then Cuadrado will surely leave and I don't have a problem with that but... why would Keita come here and warm our bench? Sounds kinda weird to me. I know he'd fight for a spot but Dybala would always play. He'd rotate with both Costa and Berna? Hmm... maybe :boh:

Maybe they don't want to sell before Super Coppa?
Yep.

I did read this a lot.

I read the same. Nothing to add from Gurus...
I had also read that he is steadfastly refusing any and all offers aside from us.

Do you think that Cuadrado could possibly still stay here even if he comes?

That frontline depth would do a 180 from last year.

Cuadrado, Keita, Bernadeschi, Kean on the bench? God damn.

Kean would go on loan or if a 30m+ offer for Cuadrado came we'd take it. I'd hate to lose Cuads though.

Assuming that no 30+ offer comes for Cuad. Do you think he stays or are we willing to lower our demands just to thin out the roster?

I have a real issue with loaning out Kean. I think that he should be the primary backup to Higuain.

I'm nuts and would keep him as a RB if we can't find one . :D

This dude is so entertaining to watch. Very good with both feet (a feature half of our attackers lack). Strong, fast, technically sound, still so young. He clearly wants to step up his career by wanting us at all cost instead of Milano circuses. Pjaca cannot be relied upon next season. Also, it makes sense to try accommodate him, Dougie Dogg and Berna before Dybala leaves next season (most likely). Beppe do it goddammit!

I think he'd already be at Milan or wherever else, so the longer this drags out, the better for juve. Hopefully it gets resolved after the game next weekend.
