lol of course lazio is holding him against his will, they are giving him shitty wage proposal and then when he rejects they want to sell him for crazy amount at the end of the contract. lazio are dumb and will ruin a talent if they won't negotiate

Nice pressure from the agent. ;-)

He's got a point about wages though. Even though intentions remain unclear.

Granted these figures are a few years old but you you got players like lulic and radu earning almost twice more than him.

..and Klose who earned almost nothing compared to the others.. :shifty:

Of course they are dumb to not negotiate but they are well within their rights to refuse to sell and tell him to respect his contract. They can't keep him there for more than 1 year anyway. Just because they refuse to sell him or because he thinks he should be making more money after 20 good games, doesn't mean he has the right to not go to training or badmouth his club in the media.

Just imagine the clusterfuck we'd be in if one day he wants to leave for Real Madrid or PSG or whatever.

Cluster fuck? He'd be sold within a day. Look at Bonucci. If someone wants out we toss em out like dogs. It's better for everyone. And give me a break about contracts. Those never mattered in football. This is about Lotitos ego.

Juventus has an agreement with De Vrij & Keita for the transfer next season. (La Stampa)
Lazio has to sell if they arent complete idiots

While that is true, Lazio should grow a brain and understand they will be paying wages for a player who most likely wont perform one bit, and leaves for free next summer, while during this summer, they can still sell him.

Tough luck for them that the player rejects everything except penny pinching juve

This wouldn't be the first time Lotito held someone against their will.

Of course contracts matter, not as much as before Bosman but they still matter. If they then transfer fees would be close to 0 not tens and even hundreds of millions.

But this more about lotito ego and I think he rejected juve last bid of 20 million euros
So he can either cash 20 mil euro, or lose 3 mil in wages

Lazio cannot just roflmao 23 mil out of the window

its not about contract, its about beeing smart with finances.
keita wants to fuck off, but only to penny pinching juve.

Lolito can either sell him to us, and use that 20+3 mil to get a replacement and be competitive

or

he can be a stubborn ass, cause he got dat contract, and force him to see out his contract. not only will the player leave on a free and must lazio cough up 20+3 mil for his replacement, but they'd also be alot less competitive during that year, with an unmotivated shitty mentality player.

This guy isnt your model professional. he'll sulk and damage the team

But he has already rejected 20 million euro bid so 25 million euro bid might seal the deal lotito might want to teach keita a lesson

As highlighted by previous posters, its about Lotito and is well known disgust for Juve. I also remember when he mocked marotta at one point. Anyway in this football economy he would be a fool to reject our offer and lose the player for free next season. He wont perform and seems on a path to be frozen out of the club.

I know, I was replying to the comment that contracts are meaningless.
