* What kept you going throughout the season? Great (or at least encouraging) results? Hope that things could only get better? Or simply blind loyalty?

- I think we played some really boring games compare to what I am used to see from Juventus. We didnt really have our own style of play or any particular idea. We were always fighting and running and improvising. And we played so much with 2 defencive midfielders. Even though we got the results, I was really angry at times when we couldnt play possession football and we couldnt score, but we still made a good season. Capello managed to build a solid team out of a light bench, but it was enough to hold almost all the way to the double.
Next season I wanna see us play more attackingminded, even though I know it wont be much, but at least I want us to really dominate some games, like we did against Milan and Parma and Lecce. I mean not only dominate, but also control the games. ANd I want us to have some more creative-minded midfielder (Pizarro, Rosicky, Riquelme, VDV etc. etc.)

* What were the best moments of the campaign - for example, the best performance / result?

- It must be Zalayetas backheel to Zlatan against Fiorentina, Nedved chip against Ajax, Del Piero bicycle kick to Trez against Milan, Del Pieros backheel goal against?? and a LOT more!

* And what were the worst?

- The referee when we faced Reggina the first time, he stole 3pts from us and When Del Piero scored a header agains Pool that was correct, but ruled off for offside...
And also the performance home against Inter and Milan.

* Who was your team’s best player of the season?

Cannvaro
Emerson
Thuram
Camoranesi
Zlatan
Del Piero
Zambrotta.. all was good

* And the worst?

- Tacchinardi, Montero Appiah/Blasi.

* How did you rate the performance of your manager/coach?

- Capello was splendid. 9 / 10.

* And the squad? (If you like, give the players marks out of ten, where ten is out of this world and one absolutely awful)

Cannavaro 10
Thuram 9
Buffon 7
Zambrotta 7
Zebina 6.5
Pessotto 6.5
Birindelli 6.0
Appiah 6.5
Blasi 6.5
Emerson 8.5
Camoranesi 9.0
Zlatan 8.5
Del Piero 7.0
Trezeguet 7.0
Nedved 7.0
Zalayeta 7.0
Kapo 5.5
Olivera 6.0
Montero 5.0
Ferrara 6.0 - All hail the champion!

* What was your side’s goal of the season?
- Nedved Vs. Ajax
Del Piero backheel
Trez against Milan
Camoranesi volley
Zlatan - Zalayeta against Viola
Nedved freekick (the only FK in the season)
and a lot more :D

* And what was the biggest howler during the campaign (eg a crazy own goal, shocking miss, bizarre team selection, etc)

- Zlatan open goal miss against Pool.
Buffon own goal when he missed the ball :)
Montero tackled Zambrotta and lost the ball to Parmas goal.
Monteros performance against Liverpool home.

* Who were the best opponents your team came up against? (Team and individual player)

- Inter, Liverpool, Bayern and Milan.
Benitez and Hyppiä are the ones who were the best opponent

* How did the media generally treat your club?
- Like the worst garbage.

* What was the biggest slice of luck that went your way during the season?

- The goal agains Milan, the referee against Bologna? and Nedveds freekick and Lazio-goal :D

* And what was the most outrageous injustice?
- The referee against Reggina. And a lot of referees blowing their whistles against Zlatan, who is too strong for this league it seems...

* Looking ahead to next season, who would you most like to see arrive at your club?

-David Pizarro - Udinese
-Sulley Muntari - Udinese
-Felipe - Udinese
-Van Der Vaart - Ajax
-Gilardino - Parma
-Rosicky - Dortmund
-Riquelme - Villareal
-Chivu - Roma
-Essien - Lyon
-Cassano - Roma
-Barzagli - Palermo
-Heitinga - Ajax
-Wilhelmsson - ???? Forgot the Belgian team :p
-Tudor back
-Chiellini back

some of these names above would be nice.

* And which person(s) would you most like to see leave it?
- Montero, Tacchinardi (sorry best for u and the club.), Legrottaglie.

* Overall, how did the campaign measure up to your pre-season expectations, and how did it compare with other seasons in which you’ve been following them?

- I didn't acutally think we would win serie a or any trophy at all, but Juventus once again succeeded and made me SOOOO happy. Though we cant compare this season to 02/03, great season when we shouldve won the double. We were the best team on the planet back then. Unstoppable...

* What are you expecting from next season?
- say goodbye to players Capello dont have in his plans, some new faces and maybe the Champions League? At least the Coppa and Serie A. oh, and also that we beat the heck out of Merda INTER!!

* What kept you going throughout the season? Great (or at least encouraging) results? Hope that things could only get better? Or simply blind loyalty?

That the season is difficult and long for everybody, and this is something that Juve always has excelled at versus the competition.

* What were the best moments of the campaign - for example, the best performance / result?

Most of all, perhaps our match ousting Real Madrid from the CL. Of course winning away at Milan 1-0 in such classy fashion. But also the 1-0 wins away to Lazio and Bologna: very gutsy to the end.

* And what were the worst?

0-0 against Liverpool at home. Giving up those away goals to Djurgården wasn't exactly a stellar moment. And although it was just the Coppa, getting ousted by cellar-dwellar Atalanta wasn't exactly a bright spot on the season either. Other than that, those long stretches of games where the goals dried up and we couldn't muster anything creative on offense.

* Who was your team’s best player of the season?

Canna followed by Camo, Zlatan, and then Emo.

* And the worst?

Blasi. Appiah at least improved towards the end of the season, but Blasi unfortunately remained mostly a liability on the pitch.

* How did you rate the performance of your manager/coach?

Capello rocked. He got this team together, influenced the summer acquisition strategy, and won the Scudetto with a team that some might argue looks weaker on paper than Milan or even Inter (at least the bench for that matter). Still, he has something to prove in the CL.

* And the squad? (If you like, give the players marks out of ten, where ten is out of this world and one absolutely awful)

Buffon: 8
Zebina: 6
Thuram: 8
Canna: 9
Zambro: 8
Pessoto: 7
Montero: 3
Emo: 8
Appiah: 6
Blasi: 3
Tacch: 4
Nedved: 7
Kapo: 7
Olivera: 7
Camo: 9
Trez: 7
DP: 7
Zlatan: 8
Zalayeta: 7

Bonus points to Ciro Ferraro for being so cool.

* What was your side’s goal of the season?

Goal of the season? I'd have to vote Trez's equalizer against Real Madrid in the CL - not so much for good it was, as a good part of it was also for what it meant at the time.

Assist of the season is a no-brainer: DP's sick assist to Trez at Milan. ;)

* And what was the biggest howler during the campaign (eg a crazy own goal, shocking miss, bizarre team selection, etc)

The freak ricochet off Canna at Reggina that all but went into the net in our first loss of the season.

* Who were the best opponents your team came up against? (Team and individual player)

Team: Milan, followed by Inter. But on a level of exceeding abilities, Bologna played two tough games against us. And even Chievo was a team we barely escaped with a win once.

Player: I would have to say Antonioli had one of the best individual performances against Juve this season in our 1-0 loss at home to Sampdoria.

* How did the media generally treat your club?

Mixed. Sometimes it was quite fair. At other times, we had the idiotic Canna tapes from years ago that lead to the media blackout.

* What was the biggest slice of luck that went your way during the season?

Coming away from Verona with a win over Chievo.

* And what was the most outrageous injustice?

Playing better in two games against Inter than Milan did in their two games, but we came away with 1 point against their 6.

* Looking ahead to next season, who would you most like to see arrive at your club?

A creative midfield playmaker. I won't name names, though I can suggest the likes of Pizarro, etc. ;)

Also, I wouldn't mind seeing the return of some youth, such as Chiellini.

* And which person(s) would you most like to see leave it?

I could live with just about anyone on this squad, save maybe Montero who is on his way out.

* Overall, how did the campaign measure up to your pre-season expectations, and how did it compare with other seasons in which you’ve been following them?

Better than expected. I expected a second or third place finish this season in Serie A. As for the CL, I was expecting to get past the group stage but only that.

Overall, Juve has had far better teams. But this one overachieved a little given the talent on hand. Great coaching, great perserverance, and a great team effort.

* What are you expecting from next season?

To be among the top contenders for the Scudetto and making deeper rounds of the CL.

First of all, you got the great idea making this kind of thread.
Inquiru which you made is very good. Congrats for the idea.
    Let’s go….

    * What kept you going throughout the season? Great (or at least encouraging) results? Hope that things could only get better? Or simply blind loyalty?

*IMO Capelo is not the tactician who wants all the way non attacking football,on the contrary last season when he managed Roma he plays with 3 attackers Totti,Cassano,Del Vechio (whatever people used to say,Totti & Cassano are attackers),and that attacking Roma beat us by 4-0.
When he arrived to Turin he assumed the team which was with totally non defensive ideology at that moment. So,all the season he tried to get maximum from that kind of team ,playing non defensively.
I always watch Juve games from blind loyalty, what is intelligible, I’m Juve fan.

    * What were the best moments of the campaign - for example, the best performance / result?

*Certainly the best moments were victories over real Madrid and over Milan

    * And what were the worst?

*The worst was two games against inter , we simply cannot get away with them.
Milan for example used to beat them with only 1 shot at their goal, per game, while we had, that realization problem , especially against inter.

    * Who was your team’s best player of the season?

*Undoubtedly Fabio Cannavaro (he saved our season)

    * And the worst?

*Very hard to say that, I mean everyone took a part in getting 28th scudetto

    * How did you rate the performance of your manager/coach?

*As I said he get the maximum from the team. Very good I would say.

    * And the squad? (If you like, give the players marks out of ten, where ten is out of this world and one absolutely awful)

    -Buffon – 7
    -Chimenti – 3
    -Montero – 3
    -Cannavaro F – 10
    -Zebina – 6
    -Thuram – 7
    -Pessotto – 6
    -Birindelli – 5
    -Ferrara – (didn’t play much)
    -Tacchinardi – 5
    -Blasi – 6
    -Appiah – 7
    -Emerson – 7
    -Nedved – 8
    -Camoranesi – 9
-Kapo – (didn’t play much, but maybe a great potential)
    -Olivera – 6
    -Del Piero – 7
-Trezeguet – 6 (to bad he got injury, because he started the season fantastic)
    -Ibrahimovic – 8
    -Zalayeta - 7

    * What was your side’s goal of the season?

    *Nedved’s strike against Ajax

    * And what was the biggest howler during the campaign (eg a crazy own goal, shocking miss, bizarre team selection, etc)

    *I must name several:
    - Buffon’s missing the ball gave by Thuram
    - ibrahim’s vasted chances (many of them)
    - Del Piero’s clear goal miss against Bologna
    - Olivera’s DMC position against Liverpool in Turin

    * Who were the best opponents your team came up against? (Team and individual player)

*Inter as an opponent and Pagliuca as a player

    * How did the media generally treat your club?

*The biggest clubs are always exposed to some media speculations , but they didn’t treat us bad.

    * What was the biggest slice of luck that went your way during the season?

    - Late goal from free kick against Bologna
    - A fact that Milan didn’t score a goal against us
    - Late Olivera’s goal against Chievo, and annihilation of regular goal for Chievo at the same game
    - Late goal against Lazio

    * And what was the most outrageous injustice?

*Mentioned annihilation of regular Chievo’s goal against us, and the same thing done to us against Pool

    * Looking ahead to next season, who would you most like to see arrive at your club?

-Only one guy is on my mind GILARDINO , and Maresca back from loan
-One good central defender, but not R. Kovac
-Also we have a need to get some players for replacements of the future outgoing players (Nedved,Thuram)

    * And which person(s) would you most like to see leave it?

*Legrottaglie, Tudor, Montero, Chimenti, Salas ( I heard that he is still our player)

    * Overall, how did the campaign measure up to your pre-season expectations, and how did it compare with other seasons in which you’ve been following them?

*Honestly I didn’t expect any trophy at this worming up season. Better than last one is needless to say.

-To earn much more money than this season.
-To get the top in Europe, but that’s only possible with winning domestic league a few rounds before ending it (fighting the two fronts at the moment is impossible)
    -To get Gilardino

    That's all
