I didn't bother looking around for the details from 99/00 and 98/99...

I didn't really post these statistics to prove anything in particular, I just wanted to see how we fare in the latter stages of the season.

It seems like we perform fairly decently when it comes to the crunch, especially in the 00/01 and 01/02 seasons.

Season 1999/00 was one of the most painful for Juve fans around the world, as Pierluigi Collina condemned us to losing the title by making us play against Perugia in a swimming pool :(

As I said, this wasn't meant to prove anything in particular, I just decided to check it out. Let's hope we can keep up our W W W W W record this season. Forza Juve

Juve thrives on situations like this.I still remember us jumping from second to first on the last day of the season and Inter dropping to third,it was great. We do have an advantage now and Milan have a slightly tougher run in, as long as we keep our eyes on the ball there shouldn't be too much trouble.

Our biggest problem right now is overconfidence;Zlatan will want to prove a point next week and that could be a problem rather than a help, while many suspect Del Piero will follow through the good performance against Milan with a couple of mediocre ones. The defence all hit peak form on Sunday and the key is that they keep it that way.Parma always cause us problems and they'll be all fired up for this weekend because of their relegation troubles,Gilardino will also of course want to catch Moggi's eye with a place on the scoresheet.

What's interesting to note is, Milan havent taken more than 11 points in their final run in. Of course, in recent history that is.

nice thoughts..

a more cheerful one is to put in consideration that Milan has the CL to worry about.. while we have nothing except the scudetto.. that will give our players more focus than milan's..

nevertheless, we should deal with every game as a final and give 100% performance and never lean back or take the rest of the games for granted.. we have a third star to put on our jerseys..

I won't hide it from you, I tried a lot to come up with something but I gave up...The difference is that you are posting your brainstorming :D

You picked it like a dirty nose; that's exactly what I was doing, typing while I was brainstorming. I didn't really bother thinking whether a significant conclusion would come of it

The bottom line is, I'm bloody excited and I can't think of any other way to contain it than to overanalyse the situation :D
