That was made on another forum I used to visit. Some people were chosen to participate in a survivor on the forum. A new subforum was created where these members can only login be there. They can only see that forum, post in that forum or create threads in that forum.

The other members can only view the forum, and one member who was responsible for the game could create threads there.

They were given tasks, such as finding pictures, or doing other stuff.

Exactly as survivor, the other members used to vote one member off each week.

If someone has the patience, this thing could be set up here.

Let it be brought up, I am not a follower of the survivor series, but I am sure someone is.

You can do it, think of tasks to give to the members for a period of one month or so. You set up the whole thing and let Marty set up the subforum for you. When you are ready ask for applicants.
