Of course not! He’s not Gullit for the love of god. That’s what our management do every summer, they obsess about certain players and overlook our real weaknesses. We need a strong signing in every position almost, bar the defense maybe. Midfield will take at least 2 -3 solid signings, full back position needs attention as well as our attack.

Maybe 2-3 in each position... but remember, before Liverpool acquired Van Dijk, they were shambolic at the back. His acquisition was the key that unlocked and solidified everybody, not just the centerbacks. This CAN happen. Not that it will, but it can. Let’s say we get a midfielder of real class... then perhaps arthur can operate with much more freedom, thereby lifting his level of play. Then Rabiot and the American can operate more efficiently. Perhaps that shields our cb’s from their worst attribute, which is opposition running at them on the counter. All I’m saying is that it’s possible that one great mid can unlock the whole puzzle.
