also really pleased with how McKennie and Kulusevski are looking - very solid half from both. Also have to say that’s the best I’ve seen Ramsey play in a Juve shirt - again looked a completely different player but so much more efficient playing that kind of football

Just because it is fluid doesnt exclude it from being a 352 the mezzala are alternating from defensive to offensive. Total team defense a correctly implemented 352

Feels like ages since I've enjoyed a first half like that. Really like the energy, the flooding of the box, width and quick use of space.

Danilo started well but has been caught out too many time on the break.

Ramsey looks like a new player, even physically he looks a stone lighter. Best player in the first half for me.

McKennie started dreadfully and I was wondering what we had signed. Since then he has done well and has shown some nice plays. Needs to lift his head and improve his passing though.

Frabotta has been full of energy and tidy.

Bonucci looks a far better player with 2 players next to him, particularly if one is Chiellini. The real test will be when he has to defend.

Ronaldo looks sharp. Kulu will be an excellent signing, Dybala-esque goal.

It's not always 4 there are 3 in formation and one on either side can slide back into the slot to help if need be.

He wasn't bad at all, but it seemed like he's the only one out of sync and he didn't seem bad just because the other 9 were playing Pirlo's game.

So the 352 haters do you know see how a 352 implemented correctly is awesome ?

it's a very flexible formation, with mckennie moving vertically like a madman, rabiot playing a kind of regista which he isn't actually, danilo already showed up on the right wing, as a cb and as a cm/am, chiellini often pouring forward like back in the conte/allegri days, kulu playing mostly on the side of the pitch unlike the usual strikers do in 3-5-2, and cr not having fixed position either.

tl;dr: not a fan of 3-5-2, and thank fuck it's not one.

I think this year could be that breakout season Rabiot will have..With Mckennie doing the hardwork to stop play and defending. Rabiot could roam a bit more and make those runs to the box he was intended to do..I think he can have a big season..
