Well there is so much wrong with this team it’s hard to know where to start. we are definitely going to drop points today though.
This midfield is a disgrace, we have no one in the middle of the park that can win the ball and we stand off our opponents who can cut through our pedestrians in 2-3 passes as if they don’t exist. Contrary to that when we get the ball we are pressurised in midfield quickly, closed down and lose the ball in midfield/our final third.
This system with 3 in the middle just doesn’t work for us, if we don’t have the talent there we need more bodies - we have to switch now to a 4-4-2 with narrow defensive wingers or we are going to get steamrolled by any team that can move the ball quickly
Our defence isn’t that bad, but the complete ineptitude of the 3 bodies in central midfield offer them no protection.
Bentancur is a promising player but he doesn’t score goals, doesn’t win the ball and gets breezed through on a regular basis.

At least up at half. A few good subs and get to at least equal possession and chances. Hopefully better. The backline appears totally lost.
Alex Sandro could have easily saved the day kickinh the ball out of play on their goal. He's the guy that disappoints me the most. Asleep with no desire it appears. Either wake up or switch Matuidi to his position. At least he hustles his ass off.
