The front 3 have been superb, they all seem to be benefiting from playing with other intelligent/talented players and gettingthe extra space as the defence don't know who to mark. Dybala in particular has been excellent.

Demiral has been great too, think he has won every dual he has had. Bentancur good too.

The only criticism would be that there is no width whatsoever. How often did we have attacks on the break and you were expecting the fullback to overlap but they never arrived, causing the attack to stop?

About no width, Sarri is allergic to it for some reason. But also it doesnt help that our fullbacks are the biggiest weakness quality wise in this game.


Danilo in particular is really poor.

I think Danilo has been our worst player so far today. The guy can't even control the ball.

I'm afraid we can't do it against proper opposition and with Miralem as regista. Benta will chase down anything (and will get carded). Pjanic is much superior as regista, but he is a bit slow.

That yellow on Dybala was ridiculous. That barely touched more than just his shoulder.

I agree that this should be ruled as a hand ball even though the play was amazing and the finish was superb but he barely got it with his hand as it was mainly shoulder so ruling out the goal for handball should have been enough..

As for the others - Demiral is having a good game and should not be sold as our future duo should be Demiral MDL (I guess it would take 2 seasons for this to happen).
The only concern about Demiral is that he isnt as calmed as Bonucci or MDL on the ball which creates a bit of pressure when playing from the defence.

Dybala - Its funny as if we win the CL by some chance - Ronaldo is the one who will get most of the credit despite Dybala actually being the main man!

Definitely agree - Danilo has no business playing for us - I have watched him enough and he is ok when on form nothing more.. Definitely a bad deal with Cancelo even if I think selling Cancelo was wise.. (BTW How is he doing at City?)

Matuidi has been playing great tonight, rabiot is clearly not 100% fit, take him off instead

Our shot stats in typical games have been overvalued or overstated in this forum. "We should won with this much because we shot this much". Not realizing most of our shots in other games are desperation long shots that are toothless, because we were unable to create clear cut chances.


But this game so far, alot of smart movement and passing around the final third that defenitely encouraging them to cut down the hapless shooting, and find best possible opportunities.
