Earlier I watched England smash NZ at rugby with an epic performance, now watching this tepid, enhanced training match. Problem in these games is that the players get as frustrated as well, and already we've seen players come away from the game plan and try to run through their entire defence alone. Need to use our brains.
Decision making has been dreadful and nobody consistently makes bad decisions like Bernardeschi. He had a couple of very good passes early on but since then he has been terrible.
Can very poor too.
We need more bodies in the box, the ball is dropping for us and we have had a few decent crosses but nobody there. This is where Bernardeschi, Can and Bentancur need to contribute more. Say what you like about Khedira but he always pushes himself to get in the box.

Considering we're playing an outsider and we usually don't give a fuck when we face underdogs, this time I liked the movement of our players and the ball movement. Instead of making it a boring match, we're trying to do something. Obviously, we should have done better than 0:0 so there is space for criticism, but the amount I'm seeing here is undeserved.
Sloppy half from both teams.
We do some decent things on the field, but we really struggle in both boxes at the moment. In the end what you do in the box both defensively and when attacking usually determines the outcome of the game. We do get to their box with such ease that eventually we'll surely get that goal.
